In Memory Giving
The loss of a loved one is an extremely difficult and emotional time. Commemorating their life by supporting a cause close to their heart is a really positive way to remember them.
You can give in memory of a loved one in a few different ways. Many families choose to ask for donations at a funeral instead of flowers, with others wishing to set up an online tribute fund in memory of the person who has died. This can be done via In Memory or JustGiving.
Ronnie Hardman, Merseyrail“I have worked at Merseyrail for many years and have supported Railway Benefit Fund throughout my career. Corina shared my passion for rail, and for RBF, and so giving a donation to them in her memory felt a natural way to help continue her legacy”.
Janice Wilson“My late father, George, worked as a station master for most of his life. He took enormous pride in his role, his station was beautifully kept as well as being a hub for his rural community. The railways were a huge part of dad’s life, that’s why it felt right to choose RBF as the charity for those who wanted to make donations in his memory.’
