Branch Line Society raise £465 for RBF

On the evening of Friday 17 January, assembling at the famous meeting place under the clock on the main concourse, Network Rail very kindly arranged for a very special guided tour of parts of the Waterloo station undercroft for the Branch Line Society (BLS).

They descended deep below platform level to an area known by staff as the catacombs – there was incredible history, from WW2 signage, a former staff firing range, a Waterloo medal and the Southern Region plans and records store!

A huge thanks to Network Rail for making the tour possible and providing the opportunity for the BLS to once more raise funds for Railway Benefit Fund.
