Over £6,000 raised at the RFG Christmas Lunch!

On Wednesday 7th December, the RBF team attended the annual Rail Freight Group Christmas Lunch, as the chosen charity for the event for the second year running. The Christmas Lunch is a major highlight of the rail calendar and we were delighted to be supported by the Rail Freight Group once again.

The lunch, held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, attracted over 800 attendees representing a range of rail freight companies, including Freightliner, GB Railfreight and Network Rail. Key speakers at the event included Maggie Simpson, Director General of RFG and RBF Trustee, Rail Minister Huw Merriman MP and Shadow Rail Minister Tan Dhesi MP.

During the lunch our fundraising team sold raffle tickets for a selection of champagne prizes. Thanks to the generosity of the attendees, the event raised £6,322 for RBF!
