Railway Benefit Fund and RIA Celebrate Charity Partnership in 2024

Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) has concluded a successful year as the Railway Industry Association’s (RIA) Charity of the Year for 2024, forging a strong partnership that significantly raised both funds and awareness for railway people and their families facing hardship across the UK. Throughout the year, the RBF actively participated in RIA’s key events, including the annual Innovation Conference. A highlight was the RISE Dinner & Awards, where a member-supported raffle, featuring generous prizes donated by RIA members, generated over £2,600 for RBF’s vital work.  RIA also generously hosted the RBF’s Heart of Gold Awards Ceremony, recognising outstanding contributions to the railway community. Further demonstrating their joint commitment, RBF teams joined RIA’s Station to Station team challenge. The RBF expresses its thanks to RIA and its members for their support and invaluable partnership, which has made a tangible difference to the lives of railway people.
