Volunteers support at the National Rail Awards

On 14th September, RBF attended the National Rail Awards as the event’s charity partner. As the largest rail awards event of its kind, we reached out to individuals from the rail industry to volunteer their time at the event, to help us get the most out of the evening.

Our fantastic team of volunteers consisted of Sue and Ness from Southeastern, Raj from RSSB, Danielle from Alstom, Maggie from Rail Freight Group, Karen from Railway Mission and Colette, a former rail worker. The team, armed with RBF t shirts and collection buckets, were able to speak to all 1,000 guests in attendance, collecting donations and selling raffle tickets. As a result of their hard work, the evening raised an incredible £10,000!
